A Western Town with Epic Scenery
Jackson is such a cool place, surrounded by these massive mountains. The whole town has a great feel, very western but with great shops. The antler arches in the Town Square are really something to see in person.
Amazing Spring Skiing!
Came for the late season snow and it was fantastic. The slopes at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort were still in great shape. Less crowded than peak season, which was a huge plus. The huckleberry ice cream in Teton Village was a perfect treat.
Saw So Much Wildlife
Jackson has incredible access to wildlife, it's unreal. We took a tour through the National Elk Refuge and saw hundreds of them. Also spotted some bison and bighorn sheep. A completely different kind of holiday for us.
Serious Terrain for Serious Skiers
The skiing here is properly challenging, which is exactly what I wanted. The terrain is steep and the expert runs are intense. Seeing Corbet's Couloir up close was wild. The mountain is huge, you could explore it for days.
Cozy and Walkable Downtown
Loved just walking around the downtown area with all the wooden boardwalks. The shops are unique and the art galleries were fun to browse through. Found a great spot for a bison burger that really hit the spot after a cold day.
Fun for the Whole Family
A really great destination for a family trip. We spent a day at Snow King Mountain which had activities for everyone, not just skiing. The town is easy to manage with kids and feels very safe.
